Seven years ago I had a major multiple sclerosis relapse which left me paralysed from neck down, I’ve never fully recovered I’ve found myself London flat bound, which is pretty demoralising I feel life is passing me by!
Going to St Lucia has been life changing, getting far far away has given me a new lease on life and reminded me of who I am! The Caribbean sun is a game changer for my MS I love swimming and the outdoors, the temperature was just perfect not too hot, not too cold! My walking improved everyday I was there and by the end of the week I almost felt normal! I even went 400 yards to the breakfast bar on my own in the mornings, albeit clinging to pillars on the way!
It was a luxury holiday and I didn’t have to worry about anything and that has really helped my MS! I can’t thank CS Disabled Holidays and their team enough!
