Dear Joanna and all the team at CS disabled holidays.
I wanted to send you a huge Thank you for helping my Husband Shane and I to enjoy a really nice holiday in Cornwall on 2nd September. We had a lovely time and the holiday took away a little bit of the reality of living with MND, even if for a short time. We looked forward to the holiday for weeks and we were able visit places that we had wanted to see for a long time and also created memories I will now treasure forever!
Sadly it turned out to be Shane’s last holiday, two weeks after our holiday on 25th Sept., Shane passed away after fighting his unbeatable battle with MND for four years. We are absolutely heartbroken but finding comfort that he’s now free from that hellish disease. So now more than ever, the memories of the holiday will stay with me for forever and for that I am truly grateful.
