The grant from CS Disabled Holidays allowed my carers and I to have 6 days in Paris visiting Art Galleries and Paris Landmarks which was a dream come true!. I got to see so many of my wishes come true – I saw the Starry Night by van Gogh, and many things I had never thought possible including the Mona Lisa – it was arranged so I could get right up front – I had assumed it would be much to busy for me to be able to see her.

When I was hoping to see the Sacre Coeur my poor carers were really struggling to push me up the hill, its really steep. A wonderful man came to our rescue, he stopped his car and insisted on driving us all up the hill to the very front of the Sacre Coeur – we new there was an entrance at the back with a lift straight to the Basilica – my comment was “I can’t think of anything more beautiful at the end of the most wonderful trip, it was been a dream come true”. This trip was truly only possible thanks to 2 wonderful carers and the trustees of CS Disabled Holidays. Thank you so much.
