Our daughter spent last week at Netley and had a wonderful time. below are a few photos of Netley Waterside and of our daughter. She made particular friends with a young volunteer who was spending a week volunteering there for the Gold Duke of Edinburgh award scheme. She is in one of the photos.
Applicant no. 1052 – Cerebral Palsy
They went to an aquarium, Marwell zoo, a wheelchair friendly boat ride, and a trip to Southampton. it was extremely hot weather, but they managed. They spent plenty of time having fun together doing crazy things. She was wrecked when we picked her up, having stayed up very late partying, and had to go to bed that afternoon! She was delighted when we pretended to be shocked at such goings on!
Please do pass o n my thanks to the people at CS Disabled Holidays who generously make it possible for our daughter and others to go on a holiday. We are most appreciative.
